About Trippi

One of the great three-year-old sprinter-milers of the world in 2000, Trippi won 7 races (1200-1800m) and $665,000 including 5 major stakes:

As a three-year-old Trippi proved unbeatable over 1400 metres at Belmont Park USA, the venue of the three brilliant graded stakes victories at that distance – Vosburgh Stakes (Gr. 1), Tom Fools Stakes (Gr. 2) and the Riva Ridge (Gr. 2). At Gulfstream he won the graded Swale Stakes (1400metres) and the prestigious Flamingo Stakes, carrying his brilliance to 1800 metres in the latter.

With all his fine attributes Trippi was sent to stud with great expectations. He has certainly delivered. From his first four crops he is the sire of over 16% stakes horses to runners. Based on this and The Blood-Horse statistics reproduced in this brochure, Trippi rates not only as the leading stallion in Florida, but as one of the best young stallions in the world. Already numbered amongst his superior runners are 33 American Stakes horses, including a champion, 3 graded stakes winners, track-record-holders and a Breeders Cup place-getter. He has bred stakes-winning juveniles, grade on fillies and colts, and grade one Turf performers. They are extremely good looking (like their sire), generally precocious, tough, sound and train well.

Progeny earnings of over $26,000,000 from 355 starters and 272 winners which is 76.6% winners per starter.
